A flat $50 deposit is required to confirm every appointment. Your appointment is not reserved until the deposit is received.

The deposit is applied directly to the total cost of your service — it is not an additional fee. The remaining balance is paid at the salon at the end of your appointment.

Deposits are transferable to a rescheduled appointment when at least 48 hours' notice is given. Deposits are forfeited for late cancellations and no-shows, as described in our Cancellation Policy.

We ask for at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This allows us to offer your reserved time to another client.

Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 48 hours' notice will forfeit the deposit, and a new deposit will be required to book again.

No-shows forfeit the deposit in full. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule, as later arrivals can affect the styles booked after yours.

All appointments are made in advance and confirmed with a deposit. Please book the service that best matches the style you want; if you're unsure, reach out and we'll help you choose.

For most extension styles we recommend bringing your preferred braiding hair so the color and texture are exactly to your taste. Arrive with clean, blow-dried, detangled hair unless a wash is included in your booking.

Please come to your appointment alone where possible so we can keep the studio calm and on schedule. Prices shown are starting prices and may vary with length, size, and detail; any adjustment is confirmed with you before we begin.

We collect only the information needed to serve you — such as your name, contact details, and appointment preferences. We use it to schedule your visit, send confirmations and reminders, and improve our service.

We never sell your information. Payment details are handled directly by our secure payment processor and are not stored on our servers. We use minimal, essential cookies to operate this website.

By booking an appointment with Braids by Rudy, you agree to these terms together with our Deposit, Cancellation, and Booking policies.

Service prices are starting estimates and may be adjusted based on hair length, style size, and detail, and are always confirmed with you before service begins. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue service where a client's hair or scalp condition makes a style unsafe or unsuitable.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA. We may update these policies from time to time; the current version always appears on this page.
